baile con los pajaritos (yachototomonidansushiro)

On a walk today Caimon pointed to geese, robins, starlings, finches, and juncos flying by. He looked up every time house finches sang in the trees overhead. Maybe the apple fell right next to the tree. He's loved dogs for a while, but he's beginning to discover birds.

Since he's barely 11 months, it's really hard to tell what kind of interests Caimon will develop. So far he seems to enjoy some of my favorites, but that may not last. Pondering his future makes me realize just how much is open to him. He could go anywhere and do just about anything. And then I have to wipe his bum after he messes himself. The possibilities may be (nearly) endless, but most of them are still a long way off.

Here's another interest Caimon shares with Sara and me: dancing!
(Okay, his dancing consists of merely bouncing up and down -- but he has to start somewhere.)
